Hello , dear teachers and schoolmates ! I am Wang Ziyi from Class two Grade eight. Today , I am going to talk about “speech”.

“If I go back to college, I will fix two courses: speech and persuasion.” said former US President Richard Nixon. So my dear classmates, do you have any reason to refuse to learn to have a speech well?

Speech is the ability to make you break through and make your life fearless. When you have eloquence, confidence and influence, your life will be smooth, and these are the power of speech. what can we do to improve our speech skills?

First, A brief opening is essential.  Cai Cong's speech began with a brief self-introduction and then introduced what his purpose was. Don't underestimate this beginning. A lot of people have been speaking for a long time. You don' t know what the purpose of his speech is. Maybe he can talk about jokes and be humorous, but I'm sure that you won' t remember what focus is after this kind of speech. Therefore, we should choose the most important part to let people see a bright beginning.

Second, all the stories you tell are to serve your point of view . The stories we use in a speech first need to be close to the center, that is, related to the content of the speech, because the speech is not a story book, all the stories in the speech are used to assist in the transmission of your point of view, all the content is to serve the point of view. So remember, stick to the theme.  

Third, a good ending is exciting. In fact, it is not difficult to achieve a good end. The easiest way is to re-emphasize your point of view, echo the opening remarks, so that the listener can remember the main purpose of your speech.

Finally, I would like to talk about the nature of the speech. Speech is not a chat between friends, It is a trained performance. So with deliberate training, everyone can finish an 80-point speech. Our school's unique speech contest is also coming, I hope all of you can also achieve better results in the upcoming speech contest.
