What is “ordinary”? and what is “extraordinary”?

According to Cambridge Dictionary: “Ordinary” means “not different or special or unexpected in any way and usual”; but “extraordinary” means “very unusual, special, unexpected, or strange in any way”. So, for a person, what’s the difference of between being an ordinary person and being an extraordinary person? According to Collins:  If you describe something or someone as extraordinary, you mean that they have some extremely good or special quality. So, did you get the difference? The difference is that extra special quality. So, if you do not want to be ordinary but be extraordinary, you should have a certain good special quality which differs from the ordinary person. Today, I will talk about those good qualities useful for being an extraordinary person.

But what are the good qualities of being extraordinary? Love? Patient? Courage? A sense of responsibility? Actually, different people have different ideas about being extraordinary, cause people’s hopes and ideas are different. But I am sure being extraordinary is important to everybody, because it is not easy to come true. Today I will tell you a story about how a panda success bring a pumpkin to her home. A little panda picks up a pumpkin and want to take it home. But the pumpkin is too big. The panda can’t take it home. Suddenly she sees a bear riding a bike toward her. She watches the bike. “I know! I have a good idea.” She jumps and shouts happily. “I can roll a pumpkin. It’s like a wheel.” So she rolls the pumpkin to her her home. When her mother sees the big pumpkin, she is surprised, “oh, my God! How can you carry it home? The little panda answers proudly, ” “I can’t lift it, but I can roll it” Her mother smiled and says, “what a clever girl! Use you heard to do something. In the end she did it. In the process of rolling pumpkin, the panda may feel tired, meanwhile she can get the most valuable qualities of being extraordinary- creativity, the spirits of challenge and the sense of responsibility. So, now I am very proud that I have the courage to stand here to speak to all of you. It is my opportunity to become extraordinary, cause I raise up to challenge myself with great courage. Therefore, we can see, to get the real success we must need something inside, which is the realization of people’ hopes and ideals.

In the end, how to be extraordinary? Now, I think everyone has his own ideas as I do. But I am sure being extraordinary leads a brighter future. So ladies and gentlemen, believe in our hopes, believe in ourselves, we, every one of us, can make a difference, as though we are ordinary person! Lastly, wish you all extraordinary!
