IBMYP(中学项目)由8个学科组构成:语言习得(英文)、语言与文学(中文)、数学、个体与社会、科学、艺术、设计、体育与健康。课程具有4个特点:广泛、平衡、概念驱动、相互联系。通过8个学科组的学习和学科组之间的跨学科学习,确保学生理解的广度和深度。IB教育最重要的方面不是传授具体的知识,而是学会在需要的时候如何找到知识,如何吸收知识,如何对知识加以整合,以及如何综合新的想法并解决问题。

IB学习方法:让学生学会如何学习,即学习如何学习是学生教育的基础。所有学生成为自我调节的学习者,他们知道如何提出好的问题、制定有效的目标、追求他们的渴望、并有决心实现它们。对于学习者来说,学会如何学习至关重要。IB五类相互关联的技能,以及与它们相关的各种从属技能,可以帮助所有年龄段的学生成长为能够自我调节的学习者,促进他们的能动性。通过IB课程的学习学生将会获得以下5种技能:思考技能(包括批判性思维、创造性思维和伦理思维等领域)、研究技能(包括比较、对比、验证和排序信息等技能)、交流技能(包括书面和口头交流、有效倾听和提出论点等技能)、社交技能(包括形成和保持积极的关系,倾听和解决冲突等技能)、自我管理技能(包括组织技能,如时间管理和任务;情感技能,如管理心态和动机)。

建业中学坚持“教、学、评”一致性的教学要求,通过评价与反馈让学生更有效地掌握学习方法,从而激发学生的内在学习驱动力,使学生在笔试中取得成功,并且在知识应用解决生活问题方面也取得成功。IBMYP中,评估是持续的、多种多样的,并且是课程的组成部分。IBMYP通过6种典型的策略和工具来评估学生的学习情况:活动与调查、组织辩论、测试和考试、动手实验、分析、反思。

IBMYP (Middle School Project) is composed of eight subject groups: language acquisition (English), language and literature (Chinese), mathematics, individual and society, science, art, design, sports and health. The course has four characteristics: extensive, balanced, concept-driven and interconnected. Ensure the breadth and depth of students' understanding through the study of 8 discipline groups and interdisciplinary study between discipline groups. The most important aspect of IB education is not to impart specific knowledge, but to learn how to find knowledge when needed, how to absorb knowledge, how to integrate knowledge, and how to synthesize new ideas and solve problems.
  IB learning method: let students learn how to learn, that is, learning how to learn is the basis of student education. All students become self-regulated learners. They know how to ask good questions, set effective goals, pursue their aspirations, and have the determination to achieve them. For learners, learning how to learn is crucial. The five interrelated skills of IB, as well as various subordinate skills related to them, can help students of all ages grow into self-regulated learners and promote their initiative. Through the IB course, students will acquire the following five skills: thinking skills (including critical thinking, creative thinking, ethical thinking and other fields), research skills (including skills such as comparison, comparison, verification and sequencing of information), communication skills (including skills such as written and oral communication, effective listening and making arguments), social skills (including skills such as forming and maintaining positive relationships, listening and resolving conflicts) Self-management skills (including organizational skills, such as time management and tasks; emotional skills, such as management mentality and motivation).
  Jianye Middle School adheres to the consistent teaching requirements of "teaching, learning and evaluation". Through evaluation and feedback, students can grasp learning methods more effectively, thus stimulating students' internal learning driving force, making students succeed in the written test, and also in the application of knowledge to solve life problems. In IBMYP, assessment is continuous, diverse and an integral part of the curriculum. IBMYP evaluates students' learning through six typical strategies and tools: activities and surveys, organization of debates, tests and examinations, hands-on experiments, analysis, and reflection.
